I didn't mind this book but out of the series it wasn't my favourite. It took too long to really get going and although I was expecting Myra's relationship to progress the way it did, it didn't really focus on him enough. It felt similar to the last book, where last book the main relationship was stuck in letter writing between characters. Just like the the focus wasn't on the main character (Myra) since this book was supposed to be about. And more on the secondary and tertiary protagonist relationship that would then lead into the "main plot" of Myra's story. Which since I enjoyed this story because of it's LGBT characters and themes following the secondary and tertiary protagonist made this story more as MF romance and then much later in the book did it hit a MMF point.Also I wish there was more of a short recap in the beginning of who was who. It had been awhile since I read the last 3 books so I found myself running back to their summaries to remember all the characters that got dumped into the story and who was related to who and what not.Overall, this suffered some of the same issues book 3 did but was far less interesting too. I didn't dislike the book and the characters were still well written but, I would hesitate to pick up the next book in the series.
