I started reading this book when I was just "exploring" the idea of changing my drinking patterns and begin a sober life. My "curiosity" with the idea didn't last too long, and I put the book down after a few chapters. I don't even remember what the book was about - I must have been in one of my "black-out" periods. But, sometime later, I was doing some re-thinking about my drinking and remembered this book. I picked up where I left off and couldn't put it down!The author is a brilliant writer and captures the reader's attention in an honest and sincere style. I felt like she was visiting with me personally.I would recommend this book to anyone, those with or without drinking problems. Her story is a heartfelt one, and her struggles are inspiring.I am getting ready to read it for a second time!Enjoy this book!
